<br /> <br /> <br /> Intergovernmental Revenue includes Municipal State Aid (MSA) as well as Local <br />Governmental Aid (LGA). The LGA Budget for 2024 is significantly higher at <br />$164,115 versus the 2023 budget at $44,184, due to legislature formula change <br />effective in 2024. The first half of LGA revenues was collected in July. The first <br />half of MSA aid is typically paid in Q1 and has been collected. Further 2024 is <br />trending lower at 57.30% versus 87.26% in 2023 due the annual Fire State Aid that <br />was collected October in 2024 versus September in 2023. <br /> <br /> The Miscellaneous Revenues includes Sherif’s credit and Falcon Heights <br />Inspection reimbursement. Part of Sherif’s credit, $48,031.47 has been collected to <br />date. Further, the 2024 budget also includes the one-time Police Aid for $471,111. <br />The Police Aid revenues were collected in Q4 of 2023. <br /> <br />General Fund Expenditures <br /> <br />As of September 30th, actual expenditures are at 64.64 % of the budget. The decrease noted in <br />2024 versus 2023 primarily relates to the one-time Public Safety Aid budgeted to be expensed in <br />2024. There have been no funds spent as of September 30th. A Transfer of $450,000 of Public <br />Safety Aid was approved on October 9th to the Fire Capital Equipment Fund toward the second <br />payment for the Arial Ladder Truck.
