STAFF REPORT <br />1 <br />TO: Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Eric Seaburg, P.E., City Engineer <br />DATE: November 13, 2024 <br />RE: Accept Feasibility Reports – 2025 Street Improvements <br />City Project Nos. 2025-PW41, 2025-PW79 & 2025-PW80 <br />ACTION TO BE CONSIDERED: <br />Motion to accept feasibility report and call for a public improvement hearing for the 2025 Street <br />Improvement Projects. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The following roadways are included in the City’s 10-year Capital Improvement Plan and 15-Year <br />Pavement Management Plan as 2025 projects: <br />•Nadeau Road, City Project No. 2025-PW41 <br />o Country Drive to Condit Street <br />•Maple Leaf Court, City Project No. 2025-PW79 <br />o County Road D to Cul-de-sac <br />•Stoneridge Court, City Project No. 2025-PW80 <br />o County Road D to Cul-de-sac <br />These projects are predominantly pavement-focused with spot improvements proposed to the curb <br />and gutters and underground utility systems. A feasibility report detailing the proposed projects has <br />been prepared. The bullet points below highlight each of the proposed improvements: <br />•Street Improvements <br />Full-depth reclamation and paving is proposed for the roadways. The curb and gutter will be <br />removed and replaced in areas where it is damaged or settled. <br />•Watermain & Sanitary Sewer Improvements <br />Consistent with past projects, the underground watermain and sanitary sewer utility systems <br />have been reviewed for overall condition and long-term integrity. The systems are in good <br />condition and are proposed to be left in place. Minor improvement will be made to each <br />system to ensure reliability.
