CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 2025-PW79 <br />MAPLE LEAF COURT <br />(COUNTY ROAD D TO CUL-DE-SAC) <br />WHEREAS, <br />A feasibility report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of <br />Maple Leaf Court (from County Road D to Cul-de-sac) by road reclamation with new asphalt <br />paving, spot curb & gutter repairs, and spot improvements to the underground utility systems. <br />This report was received by the Council on November 13, 2024, and <br />WHEREAS, <br />The report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost- <br />effective, and feasible. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Council will consider the improvement of Maple Leaf Court in accordance with the <br />report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost to the City of Little <br />Canada of $171,294. <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on December 18, 2024, in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center at 7:30 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give <br />mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br />Adopted by the Council this 13th day of November, 2024. <br />______________________________ <br />Thomas Fischer, Mayor <br />______________________________________ <br />Christopher Heineman, City Administrator
