within ten (10) days after receiving written notice from the Zoning Administrator. <br />Removal of the sign structure itself is not required. <br />I. Window Signs (Commercial and Industrial Districts Only). <br />1. Window signs shall be permitted in addition to other permitted signage, provided that <br />such signage covers no more than 20 percent of the window area for any business <br />entity. <br />2. Window signs with areas in excess of that permitted are subject to temporary signage <br />requirements and standards found in section 916.080 of this Chapter. <br /> <br />916.050 DYNAMIC DISPLAY SIGNS <br /> <br />A. Regulations for Dynamic Display Signs. These regulations shall apply to all proposed <br />dynamic signage in the City, whether new or existing, on-premises or off-premises, <br />conforming or non-conforming at the time of adoption of this Chapter. Dynamic display <br />billboards are additionally subject to the requirements of Section 916.090. The following <br />performance standards have been established to minimize the public safety concerns <br />regarding dynamic display signs. <br />1. Dynamic signs shall have messages and static displays that change instantaneously and <br />include a minimum eight-second hold time on images. <br />3. Dynamic signs shall not be permitted in any residential zoning district and shall have a <br />buffer of 50 feet from any residentially zoned property. All dynamic signs shall be <br />arranged such that light is deflected away from any adjoining residential area. <br />4. Dynamic signs shall be no brighter than other illuminated signs in the same district and <br />not to exceed a maximum brightness of 0.3-foot candles above ambient light with <br />automatic dimmer control. <br />5. Dynamic displays shall be designed to freeze the display in the event of malfunction, <br />and the owner shall discontinue the display immediately upon malfunction, or upon <br />notice from the City that the display violates the City’s regulations. <br /> <br />916.060 DISTRICT REGULATIONS <br /> <br />The following section concerns permanent signs which require application and permit. <br />Subject to other regulations in specific districts, no sign shall be located closer than 5 feet to <br />any property line. <br /> <br />A.
