MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOVEMBER 13, 2024 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the 13th day of November 2024 in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the City <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members T. Miller, Kwapick, Gutierrez and D. Miller. <br />Absent: None. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Chris Heineman, Community Relations Manager Lauran <br />Linehan, Public Works Director Bill Dircks, City Engineer Eric Seaburg, City Clerk/HR Manager <br />Heidi Heller, and Finance Director Sam Magureanu. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />T. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:. <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2024-I1-125 —APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE OC"TOBER 23, <br />2024 REGULAR MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by D. Miller. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The Community Relations Manager announced that the League of Minnesota Cities (LMC) is hosting <br />the Mayor for a Day Essay Contest and provided details on eligibility, noting that information can be <br />found on the LMC website. She stated that the first Indoor Winter Market will be held on Monday, <br />November 18th from 2 to 5 p.m. at City Hall. <br />Upon motion by Mayor Fischer, seconded by Gutierrez, the regular City Council meeting was <br />temporarily adjourned at 7:32 p.m. <br />The meeting was called to order for the Little Canada Canvassing Board. <br />LITTLE CANADA CANVASSING BOARD <br />The City Clerk reported that the General Election took place on November 5, 2024, reviewing the <br />positions that were on the ballot and advised that the Board is required to canvass those election <br />results. Staff recommends that the Board accept the results for the City offices of Mayor and City <br />Council members. <br />D. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />
