MINUTES <br />City Council <br />August 10, 1983 <br />North Mr. Hanson opened the review of the North Suburban Proposal, also <br />Suburban known as Round Lake Estates. <br />Proposal <br />(Cont.) Mrs. Scalze presented a list of neighboring residents to the Schrier <br />property whom she contacted, and she reporY.ed that they answered two <br />to one in favor of the step down concept. <br />Mr. Licht discussed his recommendations with the Council concerninq <br />his report of August 9, 1983. He reported that the Fire Department <br />views the proposed height of 44 feet as no problem. The building <br />height therefore becomes a question of aesthetics. However, the <br />Fire Department has asked for a fire lane on Driveways No. 2 and <br />No. 4 to get to the rear of the buildings. <br />Mr. Licht also recommended that the parking spaces in the cul-de-sac <br />not be installed initially. The berming was also discussed. <br />Mr. Schrier requested that the eleven extra parking spaces be desiqnated <br />as future parking. He presented the Council with a new legal description <br />because the pond area was moved. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-7-326 - APPROVING THF. <br />PRELIMINARY PLAT OF THE "ROUND LAKB <br />ESTATES ADDITION". <br />The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />Ayes (4) Hanson, Forsberq, Scalze and Nardini. <br />Nayes (1) Fahey. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolutior. appears in Resolution Book No. 9, Page 352. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 83-7-327 - APPROVING THE <br />LINE OF THE ROOFS <br />ROOF5. <br />INSTEAD OF FLAT-TOP <br />Theforegoirig:resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Porsberg. <br />Ayes (4) Hanson, Forsberg, Scalze and Nardini. <br />Nayes (1) Fahey. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 9, Page 352. <br />Page 2 <br />
