MINUTES City Council August 10, 1983 North Mr. Hanson opened the review of the North Suburban Proposal, also Suburban known as Round Lake Estates. Proposal (Cont.) Mrs. Scalze presented a list of neighboring residents to the Schrier property whom she contacted, and she reporY.ed that they answered two to one in favor of the step down concept. Mr. Licht discussed his recommendations with the Council concerninq his report of August 9, 1983. He reported that the Fire Department views the proposed height of 44 feet as no problem. The building height therefore becomes a question of aesthetics. However, the Fire Department has asked for a fire lane on Driveways No. 2 and No. 4 to get to the rear of the buildings. Mr. Licht also recommended that the parking spaces in the cul-de-sac not be installed initially. The berming was also discussed. Mr. Schrier requested that the eleven extra parking spaces be desiqnated as future parking. He presented the Council with a new legal description because the pond area was moved. Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83-7-326 - APPROVING THF. PRELIMINARY PLAT OF THE "ROUND LAKB ESTATES ADDITION". The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. Ayes (4) Hanson, Forsberq, Scalze and Nardini. Nayes (1) Fahey. Resolution declared adopted. This resolutior. appears in Resolution Book No. 9, Page 352. Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 83-7-327 - APPROVING THE LINE OF THE ROOFS ROOF5. INSTEAD OF FLAT-TOP Theforegoirig:resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Porsberg. Ayes (4) Hanson, Forsberg, Scalze and Nardini. Nayes (1) Fahey. Resolution declared adopted.
