'Che Clerlc repl:i.ed that as soon as the plat i.s fi.led the City <br />wi11 amend its tihoroughf.are plan to i.nclude this :i.mprovement. <br />Mr. ~'ahey aslced if the City ACt:orney should prepar.e the caai.vero <br />The Attorney replied that he will take care of it. <br />Mrse Nardini. asked i.f a performance bond ~ai.ll be required. The <br />Attorney stated that the platti.n~; code requires a performance bond, <br />The Planner commented that a performance bond should be requised. <br />There is no incentive for a cleveloper to £ollow through on a project <br />tmless a bond has Ueen posted. <br />Mr.. i'ahey pointed out that the City w:i11. be putting this improvement <br />in. The Planner stated t}iat if the Ci.ty is doi.ng the work, then the <br />bond is not requi.red. Fiowever, if the cost is being assessed, a <br />bond should be posted to cover the assessments. <br />Mr, ltanson poi.nted out that the property could go deli.nquent even <br />with a performance bond. <br />The Att:orney suggested that the Ci.Cy coulci requi.re i.n the PUD ttiat <br />a11 assessments be pai.d at time of closing. <br />~1r.
