The <br />Attorney stated that the platti.n~; code requires a performance bond, <br />The Planner commented that a performance bond should be requised. <br />There is no incentive for a cleveloper to £ollow through on a project <br />tmless a bond has Ueen posted. <br />Mr.. i'ahey pointed out that the City w:i11. be putting this improvement <br />in. The Planner stated t}iat if the Ci.ty is doi.ng the work, then the <br />bond is not requi.red. Fiowever, if the cost is being assessed, a <br />bond should be posted to cover the assessments. <br />Mr, ltanson poi.nted out that the property could go deli.nquent even <br />with a performance bond. <br />The Att:orney suggested that the Ci.Cy coulci requi.re i.n the PUD ttiat <br />a11 assessments be pai.d at time of closing. <br />~1r.
