CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 902 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE CREATING CHAPTER 827, CANNABIS, OF THE LITTLE CANADA <br />CITY CODE TO REGULATE THE RETAIL SALE OF CANNABIS. <br /> <br /> <br />The Little Canada City Council, Ramsey County, Minnesota does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby enacts Chapter 827 of the <br />Little Canada Municipal Code by adding the underlined material as follows: <br /> <br />827. CANNABIS <br />827.000 Findings and Purpose <br />The City of Little Canada makes the following legislative findings: <br />A. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to implement the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter <br />342, which authorizes the City of Little Canada to protect the public health, safety, welfare of Little <br />Canada residents by regulating cannabis businesses within the City’s legal boundary <br />B. Findings. The City of Little Canada finds and concludes that the proposed provisions are appropriate <br />and lawful land use regulations for the City of Little Canada, that the proposed amendments will <br />promote the community's interest in reasonable stability in zoning for now and in the future, and that <br />the proposed provisions are in the public interest and for the public good. <br /> <br />827.010 Definitions. <br />Unless otherwise noted in this Chapter, words and phrases contained in Minn. Stat. 342.01 and the rules <br />promulgated pursuant to any of these acts, shall have the same meanings in this ordinance. <br />A. Cannabis Business. Means any of the following businesses: <br />1. Cannabis microbusiness; <br />2. Cannabis mezzobusiness; <br />3. Cannabis cultivator; <br />4. Cannabis manufacturer; <br />5. Cannabis retailer; <br />6. Cannabis wholesaler; <br />7. Cannabis transporter; <br />8. Cannabis testing facility; <br />9. Cannabis event organizer; <br />10. Cannabis delivery service;
