<br /> <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Heidi Heller, City Clerk/HR Manager <br /> <br />DATE: December 18, 2024 <br /> <br />RE: Accept 2024 Donations and 10% Charitable Gambling Funds <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION TO BE CONSIDERED: <br />Approve city acceptance of the September 1, 2024 – December 13, 2024, cash donations, non- <br />cash donations and charitable gambling funds as listed in the attached reports. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Attached is a listing of cash donations the City of Little Canada has received and 10% gambling <br />funds the City receives from charitable gambling conducted by the Little Canada Fire Department, <br />Little Canada Recreation Association and Little Canada Canadian Days, along with a non- <br />monetary donation for the period September 1, 2024 – December 13, 2024. <br /> <br />Non-monetary donations received: <br />• McDonalds: Estimated $860 value - cookies for the 2024 Cookies with Santa Event <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Pursuant to State Statute, staff is recommending acceptance of these donations and charitable <br />gambling funds. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
