Ayes (4) Scala.e, Porsberg, Nardi.ni., Fahey. Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resoluti.on appears in Resoluti.on J3oolc No< 1.1., Page 451. P1r. I'ahey commented that the Planning Commission recommended that a corner duplex lor. i.n an R-7_ area should be 12,500 square feet rather than 14,000 as recommended by the Planner. The Planner pointecl out that this ordi.nance wouLd apply only to newly zoned R-7_ property and presently zoned R-2 property would be grand- f.athered in. The Planner explained that the reason for the 14,000 r.equirement on the corner LoC, is Chat a corner. lot has two large setbaclcs to contend with. Mr. Pahey pointed out that the extra f.oota~;e is added to the f.rontage and that there is nothing added to the baclcyard. Mrs. Dlardini pointecl out thaC green area is gai.ned and thi.s is what the City i.s Loolcing Lor. Mrs< Scal.ze stated that she saw no problem with the 7.4,000 square feet.
