I~I.esener. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, Blesener, Col.l.ov2, Scalzee <br />Nayes (0). <br />ResoluCion declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears tin Resolution i3oolc No. 17_, Page 77. <br />Gambling The Ci.ty Attorney reported that as of. March 1 the StaCe wi.ll be <br />Ordinance i.ssuin~ bingo and p,ambli.ng l.icenses. Applications will be made to <br /> the State and then submi.tte d to the City. If. the Ci.ty does not want <br />Agenda a l.icense issued, :it can be sent to the State with this r.equest. <br />Addi.ti.on The City wi11 also be abl.e to su~;gest restricti.ons or limitati.ons <br /> on licenses. <br />The City Attorney felt that if the Ci_ty wants to control ~;ambling, <br />it should put together an or<linance to thi.s ettect. <br />Tkie Attorney also repor.ted that a chari.table organization has already <br />approache<1 one of the City's liquor establishments about se11i_ng of <br />pull tabs. <br />If the City does not act on app~licati.ons within 30 days, then the <br />State wi11 automatically approve the applicat~i.on. <br />The Attorney stated that the proposed ordinance would say that the <br />City has the power to impose whatever conditions it wants on a].i.cense. <br />P1r.
