MINUTES <br />City Gouncil <br />May 8, 1985 <br />Watermain Mr. Fahey stated that the City's intent is that the cosC of the <br />Extension impr.ovement would be charged against the future users of the Line <br /> <br />(Cont.) <br />The City CLerlc stated <br />that in order to assess the cost, , <br />the City <br /> would have to have a public hearing. <br />The City Attorney stated that if the cost is in the form of a comiection <br />charge, then a public hearing i.s not necessary. 'The Attorney stated <br />that connecti.on charges are not <tetermined by benefit. <br />Mr. Pahey asked if the City could r.ecoup i.ts costs in the form of a <br />connection ch2rge for this improvement.
