MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Sept. 25, 19~5 <br />McGough 'i'he Citq Attorney reported that he has recei.ved a copy of the McGough <br />lasement easement. McGough's will move the fence when the City wants them to. <br />A~enda Mrs, Scalze commented that the City needs the fence moved for emergency <br />Item No. 19 access i.nto the area= <br />Mosted & The Attorney reported that he has received the topos for the Mosted and <br />Johnson Johnson properti.es. The Attorney ~inf.ormed the Council that he has put <br />Properties together purchase a~;reements for these two properties, <br />Agenda The Lirst purchase agreement for the .Iohnson property for ~70,000. <br />Addition It provides for $500 earnest money and $4,500 at the time of closi.ng. <br />The Ualance woul.d be carriect on a contract-for-dee<t at 9% interesC <br />over fi.ve years< There is also a condit:ion that the City must be able <br />to purchase the Mosted property and get approvals Erom the necessary <br />gover.nmenCal agencies. The City ~vi11 pay a11 special assessments in <br />19£35 and will probably have to pay 1986 taxes. <br />The ACCOrney reported that there is a piece of property that Johnson <br />~vants to maintain. The Engineer felt that this would be workablee <br />Ms. Nard.ini introduced the following r.esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLU'LION N0. 85-9-479 - APYROVING TIiP: PURCHASti <br />AGREEEMEN'f POR THli JOlINSON PROPERTY AND AUTHOKI'LING <br />THE ~SAYOR AND CITY CL~R1C TO SIGN TH~ AGREEyENT ON <br />]3EHALF OF THE CITY FOR THE STATED AMOUNT OR LGSS <br />'Phe foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Nardini, Collova, Scalze, S1lesener, Fahey, <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution cteclared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 12, Page 495. <br />Mr< S~veeney presented the purchase agreement For the Mosted propertye <br />The proposed purchase pric.e is $145,490 iaith the same terms and conditions <br />as proposed in the Johnson purchase agreement. <br />Pahey suggested Che Council shoulct have the flexi.bi.lity to sell the <br />lots on Noe1 Urive i£ it choses. The City Clerk pointed out that the <br />City would have to plat the property. <br />The Attorney suggested that the City requesC thaC Mr.s< rtosted join <br />in the plat~ as the Ci.ty would be purchasi.ng the property on a contract- <br />Lor-deed, <br />Mrs< Scalze introduced the Loll.owing resolution and moved its adopti.on: <br />Page -?_5- <br />
