MIPlUTES <br />City Council <br />tiov. 13, 1985 <br />Bond Sale Mr. Collova introduced the follo~ving resolution and moved its adoption: <br />(Cont.) <br />RESOLUTION D10. 85-11-531 - ADOPTIPIG REFUNDING <br />PROGRAP1 #4 FOR THE BO~1DS OF 1982 AS PRESENTED <br />BY BOND COUDISEL AND THE CITY AUDITOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Collova, Scalz~, Nardini, Fahey, lilesener. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book P!o. 12, Page 559. <br />P1rs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIO^i N0. 85-11-532 - CFlLLING FOR A SPECIAL <br />MEETI~lG ON DECEMBER 2, 19II5 AT 5:30 P.M. TO A41ARD <br />BIDS OM THE REFIt~IADICIPdG OF TNE BONDS OF 1982 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Collova, ~l~rdini, Fahey, Blesener. <br />Playes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted.. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution I3ook No. 12, Page 560. <br />Rutzick/ Mr. Fahey reported that last 4Jednesday the Council held a workshop <br />Cardinal meeting on the Cardinal/Rutzick proposal. At that meeting it was <br />Proposal determined that the developer should provide a 100 foot buffer zone <br />from the residents of Iona Lane and his apartment buildings. Fahey <br />Agenda noted that the proposal subnitted at tonigh~s meeting indicates 156 <br />Item No. 5 apartment units up from the 1~44 units proposed originally. Also, <br />the current proposal shows a tennis court in the southwest corner af <br />the property. <br />Mrs. Scalze asked why there was an increasa in the number of apartment <br />units. P1r. Sherman Rutzick replied that this was to offset the cost <br />of the ad.ditional property. <br />Mr. Blesener pointed out that originally 138 units were proposed. before <br />the I~linter propert,y was included. Once the City required the ~nlinter <br />property to be involved, Rutzick came back with a 192 unit proposal. <br />This is the third proposal by Rutzick and it shows 156 units anct the <br />100 foot biaffer zone. <br />Mr. Fahey pointed out that a club house setting ~aas discussed at the <br />workshop meeting and Fahey felt that this would be a good amenity <br />between the two buildings and would attract high-qiaality residents. <br />Fahey indicated that he discussed this ~aith Rutzick and it could <br />be worked. in if the number of parking spaces required was reduced. <br />Page -5- <br />
