MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Dec. 30, 1985 <br />Rutzick Keenan suggested that the language state 25% if feasible and subject <br />Development to Council approval. <br />(Cont.l <br />Fahey suggested that the language contain the provision that the Council <br />could pass a resolution relieving Cedar Lakeside of the obligation if <br />if the market study indicates that senior housing is not feasible. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOlUTION N0. 85-12-595 - DECLARING THAT <br />THE COUN ILC S POSITION TO THE EXTENT OF SENIOR <br />CITIZEN NOUSING UNITS TO BE INCORPORATED IN THE <br />CEDAR LAKESIDE PROJECT IS THAT 25% OF THE UNITS <br />WILL BE DESIGNATED FOR SENIOR CITIZENS IF THE <br />FEASIBILITY STUDY INDICATED THAT IS APPROPRIATE <br />AND IF TNE FEASIBILITY STUDY INDICATED OTHERWISE, <br />TNE COUNCIL AND CEDAR LAKESIDE PROJECT I~ILL MEET, <br />CONFER AND NEGOTIATE AS TO THE APPROPRIATE <br />PERCENTAGE IdITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT THE FINAL <br />APPROVAL OF THE PUD AGREEMENT AP1D THE PLAT WILL <br />~E CONTINGENT UPON SATISFACTORY RESOLUTION OF <br />THE SENIOR CITIZEN HOUSING QUESTION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by P1s. Nardini. <br />Ayes (51 Fahey, Nardini, Scalze, Collova, Blesener. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Qook No. 12, Page 648. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 85-12-596 - AUTHORIZING A <br />PROJECT AND HOUSING PROGRAM UNDER MINNESOTA <br />STATUTES, CHAPTER 462C(MUNICIPAL NOUSING PROGRAMS) <br />AND AUTNORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF MULTIFAMILY HOUSING <br />REVENUE BONDS TO FINANCE THE PROJECT AND PROGRAM <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF VARIOUS DOCUPIENTS <br />IN CONNECTION TNEREWITH (CEDAR LAKESIDE PROJECTI <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK, ANO CITY <br />ATTORNEY IF NECESSARY, TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY <br />DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Ms. Nardini. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Nardini, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 12, Pages 649 thru F58. <br />Page -4- <br />
