MINUTES City Council April 22, 1987 Recycling Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: (Cont.l RESOLUTION ~0. 87-4-177 - AUTHORIZING THE SOLID WASTE ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO DRAW UP A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE COUNTY AND SUPERCYCLE FOR RECYCLING SERVICES IN THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Scalze, LaValle, Fahey. Nays (0), Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 191. Sealcoating Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Bids RESOLUTION N0. 87-4-178 - APPROVING AND Agenda ACCEPTING THE LOW BID FROM BITUMINOUS Item No. 24 ROADWAYS IN THE AMOUNT OF 45¢ PER SQUARE YARD FOR SEALCOATING IN 1987 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, LaValle, Collova, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 192. Water Loss Blesener reported that the water loss for the first quarter of 1987 was high and the Public Works Department will have the main meter Agenda tested as well as have someone test watermain lines for leaks. Item No. 24 No Parking Blesener reported that the County wants to post County Road D as On County no parking on the south from LaBore Road to Edgerton. Road D LaValle noted that no parking is already posted on the south and Agenda would present a problem to residents in that area. Item No. 24 Scalze felt that no parkin9 would be a benefit to the residents due to the location of the apartment buildings in that area. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION M0. 87-4-179 - REQUESTING THE COUNTY TO POST COUNTY ROAD D NO PARKING FROM LABORE ROAD TO EDGERTON ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE STREET Page -36-
