MINUTES <br />City Council <br />July 22, 1987 <br />Lee suggested that when Nielson does his research on tax increment <br />financing used by other cities, that he uses cities comparable to <br />Little Canada. Lee also suggested that some examples of projects <br />approved in Roseville be reviewed. <br />Fahey summarizes that the City needs to put together an inventory <br />of undeveloped properties as we71 as an update on the bond program <br />the City has joined in with other cities. Fahey requested that <br />Nielson report on tax increment financing, block grants, SBA financing <br />and other available financing options the City can use as tools to <br />attract developers. <br />DeLonais felt that at this point the City should focus on the top <br />priorities that have been identified <br />Nielson suggested that the Council review the entire list and <br />consider strategies for each priority or delegate some of the <br />priorities to others within the City. <br />Council and the Economic Development Committee set another workshop <br />meeting for August 4, 1987 at 7:00 A.M. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:~0 P.M. <br />Respectfully submitte ", <br /><. ~-c~~~ ~'~~`~~ <br />Kathleen Glanzer <br />Recording Secretary <br />Page -7 - <br />
