Ander~son would be inter~ested in expanding his <br />(Cont.) present garage. <br />Ander•son r•eplied that he had plans to both expand the existing garage <br />and constr~uct the new gar~age being pr•oposed. <br />Fahey asked what the setback fr•om the pr•oposed gar•age to the existing <br />tr•ai 1 er~ woul d be. <br />The Planner~ r~eplied that the setback would be 6 feet which is what is <br />necessar•y to meet Building Codes. <br />P1r•s. Ander•son r•epor•ted that the Planning Commission denied the var•iance <br />request because one member• felt the development in the par•k was too dense. <br />The issue of the var•iance was not addr•essed. <br />Fahey stated that he was not in favor• of adding to the non-confor•mity <br />i n the par~k unl ess the r~equi r•ements for• a har•dshi p are met. <br />Scalze also pointed out that the use of the pr~oper•ty is non-confor•ming <br />as the pr~oper•ty is zoned industr•ial. Under• the City's mobilehome <br />par•k or~dinance, the par~k would be non-confor•ming as it does not meet <br />the requirements as outlined in that or~dinance. <br />Mr•s. Ander•son indicated that the par~k meets State r•equirements <br />Scalze suggested that a new garage could be constr•ucted when space <br />is available in the par•k when a home vacates. <br />Mr•s. Ander•son replied that the par•k needs the income fr•om the <br />number of homes existing. <br />Blesener~ pointed out that ther~e is r•oom to add on to the existing <br />garage. <br />Mr•.
