Blesener• intr•oduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: <br />Agenda RESOLUTIOM N0. 87-11-533 - APPROVING THE <br />Item Plo. 3 MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER 28, 1987 REGULAR <br />COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The for~egoing r~esolution was duly seconded by Mr•. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Fahey, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar~ed adopted. <br />This r•esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 562. <br />Par•k Sur~vey Mayor Fahey r~epor•ted that the Par~k and Recr•eation Commission has <br />' <br /> r•ecommended that a sur•vey s <br />be conducted to deter•mine the City <br />Agenda needs with r•egar~d to par•k and recr•eational facilities. The Commission <br />Addition has r•ecomme nded 'chat the fir•m of Decision Resour~ces, Ltd. be hir~ed <br /> to conduct this sur•~iey. <br />Mr. Bill Morr~is, President, Decision Resources, Ltd., appeared before <br />the Council and r•epor•ted that his fir•m is a full-ser~vice sur•vey and <br />mar~keting r•esear•ch fir•m that assists cities with identifying changes <br />and planning, as well as obtaining citizen opinions on var•ious topics. <br />Morris reported that his firm has worked with several other cities <br />in conducting telephone sur•veys on a var~iety of topics, including <br />par•ks and r•ecr•eation pr~ogr•ams, fir•e, police and animal contr•ol <br />pr•otection, economic development, communication, etc. <br />Page -1- <br />
