~9INUTES City Council Plarch 23, 1988 Cable TV P-1rs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: (Cont.l RESOLUTI0~1 N0. 88-3-116 - DECLARIPIG THAT DON TARNOWSKI SHOULD QE REIMEiURSED AT HIS AVERAGE RATE OF COMPENSATIOPJ BASED ON THE LAST THREE OR FOUR MONTHS OF HIS SALARY The for•egoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr•. Collova. Ayes (4) Scalze, Collova, Fahey, Blesener~. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This r~esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 19, Page 120. f3lesener reported that there are some major issues to be decided by the Cable TV Commission in the next few months and requested that he continue to serve as the City's Cable TV Commissioner for two or thr~ee months. Council was agreeable. Payne Blesener• commented on the poor condition of Payne Avenue and the fact Avenue that the str•eet is beginning to deter~ior~ate fur•ther~ south. 3lesener~ suggested that action needs to be taken with the str•eet now befor~e the Agenda r~epair•s become even mor•e expensive. Item No. 16 B1esener reported that when the City Engineer makes his report on r~epair•ing the r•oad and financing alter•natives, the Council should notr~ule out some type of per•centage assessment to pr~oper~ty owner~s. Stor•m Pipe Blesener~ pointed out that the City Engineer~ will be studying the Demont & possible need for a larger storm pipe in the area Lake and Lakeshore Jackson noting that the.existing culvert is 36 inches in size. A larger pipe is being installed as part of the Demont proiect that will direct Agenda water• at a faster~ r•ate to the 36-inch culver•t.
