Collova reported that he and the City Clerk have been discussing <br />Citizen the possibility of an addition onto the City's senior~ citizen apar•tment <br />Addition building with a non-pr~ofit cor•por•ation that has developed similar• <br /> additions in the Metro area. Collova reported that it is not <br />Agenda economically feasible to use TIF for• such an addition due to the <br />Item No. 14b bonding costs involved. <br /> Collova r~epor•ted that the corpor•ation will be checking with HUD as <br /> well as the management boar•d of the existing senior• building. Var•ious <br /> options will be explor•ed such as an addition versus separ•ate building. <br /> Scalze r~epor~ted that r•esults of a cur•r•ent study show that of <br /> 15 pr~ecincts, Little Canada has the 4th highest senior• citizen <br /> population. <br /> Scalze pointed out that the School Distr•ict is now awar~e of this data. <br />Page -20- <br />
