MIPlUTES <br />City Council <br />August 24, 198£3 <br />Fina Scalze suggested that before the Ordinance is amended, the City Planner <br />Serve and City Clerk should look at what other cities do in similar• situations. <br />(Cont.) <br />Mrs. Scalze intr~oduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-8-350 - INSTRUCTING THE <br />CITY PLANNER AND CITY CLERK TO RESEARCH TNE SIGN <br />ORDINANCES OF OTHER CITIES WITH REGARD TO HEIGHT <br />LIMITATIONS AND TO DETERMINE THEIR POSITION IN A <br />SITUATION WHERE AN IMPROVEMENT IS MADE TO A BUILDING <br />THAT HAS AN EXISTING NON-CONFORMING USE, IF THEY <br />WOULD ALLOW A NON-CONFORMING SIGN TO REMAIN, OR <br />IF THE PROPERTY OWNER WOULD BE REQUIRED TO REMOVE <br />THE NON-CONFORMING SIGN AND REPLACE IT WITH ONE <br />MEETING CODE REQUIREMENTS <br />The for•egoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr•.
