LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) glesener•, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This r~esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 20, Page 594. <br />Dlesener• r•epor•ted that the Recycling Committee would like the City Attorney's <br />assistance in wor•king on the 1989 recycling contract with Supercycle. <br />Mr~. Blesener• intr•oduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 8$-12-554 - APPROVING THE <br />CITY ATTORNEY S 4JORKING WITH THE CITY'S <br />RECYCLING COMMITTEF ON TNE 1989 RECYCLING <br />CONTRACT WITH SUPERCYCLE <br />The foregoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) alesener, Collova, Fahe.y, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This r•esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 20, Page 595. <br />Fahey noted that the contr•act should contain an excape clause in the event <br />the City goes to or•ganized collection. <br />Moratorium 5lesener reported that the Recycling Committee would like a moratorium placed <br />On Garbage on the issuance of any new gar•bage haialer•s licenses in the Cit,y. The reason <br />Haul er~s for• the mor~ator•i um i s that the Commi ttee i s wor•ki ng towards organi zed <br />Licenses collection, and feels that such a mor•ator~ium would assist. them by limiting <br /> the number~ of haulers that the Committee will need to neyutiate with. <br />Agend~a <br />Addition Blesener~ asked if the City Attorney will have to dr•aw up an or•dinance for• <br />such a mor~ator•i um. <br />The City Attorney felt that a r•esolution by the Council would be sufficient. <br />Mr•.
