NIINUTES OF TEIE WORRSAOP TIEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LSTTLE CFINADA, MTNNESOTfl <br />September 6, 19II9 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting <br />of the Council of the City of Little Canada, ~4innesota was <br />held on the 6th day of September, 19H9 in the Council <br />Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada <br />Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael Fahey chaired the meeting and called it to <br />order at 6:30 p.m. The following members of the Council <br />were present at roll call: <br />MEDIBERS FPESED7T: <br />Mayoc <br />Councilwoman <br />Councilman <br />Councilman <br />Councilman <br />Pdr. Michael Fahey <br />Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />Mr. Bill F3lesener <br />Mre Rick Collova <br />Mr. Jim LaValle <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Building Insp. <br />Public Works Su~t. <br />Recording Secretary <br />Mr. John Palacio <br />Mr. Dave Harris <br />Mrs, Kathy Glanzer <br />CITY Mr. Jim Brimeyer, Sathe & Associates, appeared before the <br />ADP4INISTRATOR Council to review the profile information which his firm <br />put together for the City Administrator/Clerk position. <br />This profile information addressed various topics including <br />information on the community, education/cultural amenities, <br />the organization of the City, services, finances, the <br />results of the City's 1988 survey, strategic planning, the <br />position itself as well as an organizational chart. <br />The Council and Mr. Brimeyer revie~aed these topics in <br />detail with suggestions made by the Council for revisions. <br />Next reviewed by the Council was the portion of the profile <br />information that addressed the specific areas of <br />accountability for the City Administrator/Clerk position, <br />as well as the background, experience, leadership and <br />management skills that the City is looking for in the <br />individual who ~vill fi].J, this positionm Again, the Council <br />made some revisions in what ~vas presented by Srimeyer, <br />Mrm F3rimeyer ind9.cated that he wi11 revise the profile <br />information incorporating the revisions discussed. <br />The next discussed v~as compensation for the position with <br />Brimeyer suggesting a salary in the 542,000 to $50,000 <br />range. <br />Page 1 <br />
