9PROPOSAL FOR BUSINESS CORRIDOR BRANDING PROJECT — CITY OF LITTLE CANADA
CONFIDENTIAL
© NEUGER 2025
OUR PROCESS
Engagement Process
After the kickoff meeting, we will do planning work to prepare for
the stakeholder engagement open house. We will engage in the
following ways:
• Conduct a quantitative survey of business owners (optional)
• Conduct qualitative interviews with four business owners
or representatives from the historically underrepresented
communities (optional)
• Seek city staff input through the kickoff meeting and the
planning process for the stakeholder engagement open house
• Plan questions and deliverables for the stakeholder
engagement open house
• Attend the stakeholder engagement open house
In our base option, we will receive feedback through our meetings,
planning for the open house and attending the open house.
In addition to the city facilitating questions and answers, we
will recommend having prompts on the wall or isles where
stakeholders can write answers to the prompts. The goal is to
make sure everyone is heard and if there is a lively conversation or
people wish to remain more anonymous, this gives them an outlet
to provide feedback.
While doing the methods above will give meaningful
information, as an optional add-on we can also offer conducting
a survey and/or interviews. When conducting user research, we
recommend combining qualitative and quantitative methods to
get a better understanding of the situation. For this project, we
can conduct a quantitative survey, which will give us a little bit
of data from a lot of participants. Additionally, we can conduct
qualitative interviews, which will give us a lot of information
from a few participants. These options would pair nicely with the
open house to give a more complete picture, but we understand
if there isn’t the budget for these add-ons.
Design Process
Based on the engagement process, we will consider themes from
the open house. We will explore ideas of what these themes
look like visually. After this, we will create 2-3 street light banner
options. Within at least one of these options, we will have a
few alternate design options to vary the look slightly along the
corridor. Both of these options will use the existing City of Little
Canada branding.
