The City budgets investment income as part of the budget process so it is helpful to understand the <br />coupons (interest rate) for the cash and investments. As it can be noted bellow the city still has a <br />large percentage 22.89% or $3,146,815 of its total invested balance with a coupon under 1%. As <br />these investments mature in the next 3 years it will allow for possible better investing opportunities. <br />Overall, the average coupon for all of the investments at the end of 2024 is 3.381%. At the end of <br />2024 the City interest earnings totaled $600,898.63.
