MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />January 24, 1990 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-1-50 - APPROVING THE ATTENDANCE OF <br />ANY INTERESTED PLANNING COMMISSIONERS IN A PLANNING <br />COMMISSION SEMINAR AT A COST OF $50.00 PER REGISTRANT, <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THE BOOK "THE JOB OF <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION" <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Collova, Scalze, LaValle, Fahey, Blesener. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />CUB SCOUT Fahey reviewed the letter received from Harry Koval <br />PROJECT representing Cub Scout Pack 462 requesting a project <br />that this troop could do to qualify for a Pack Quality <br />Award. It was suggested that the request be referred <br />to Bill Sanders and Jim Morelan. <br />CITY CENTER It was reported that Boarman & Associates have <br />PROJECT requested that a topographical survey, boundary survey <br />and location survey be done of the City Center property <br />to assist in the planning of the City Center expansion. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoptions <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-1-51 - AUTHORIZING TAE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO GO FORWARD WITH A BOUNDARY SURVEY, <br />TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEY AND LOCATION SURVEY FOR THE CITY <br />CENTER PROPERTY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />GOAL SETTING Scalze pointed out that last year at this time the <br />SESSION Council and department heads met for a goal setting <br />session. Scalze suggested that a follow-up on this <br />session be done. <br />The Council discussed this at length, and it was <br />pointed out that the City Administrator has requested a <br />workshop session with the Council to discuss City <br />policy and other issues. It was thought that such a <br />workshop session should be held initially, with a <br />facilitator session and goal setting later. <br />Page 25 <br />
