MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 12, 1990 <br />contributions toward a new warming house. <br />Collova indicated that page 18 of the minutes should be <br />corrected changing the name "Harry Kath" to "Frank <br />Kath". <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the followinq resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-6-270 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />MAY 23, 1990 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS CORRECTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, LaValle, Blesener, Collova. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-6-271 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />MAY 30, 1990 WORKSHOP MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />POLICE Fahey reported that Ann Baker of the Pioneer Press <br />SERVICES has informed him that the City of Maplewood will be <br />contacting the City to determine if there is interest <br />in combining some municipal services, such as parks and <br />recreation programs, and police protection. Fahey felt <br />that given the change in the formula for distributing <br />the cost of police protection services, this is an area <br />that warrants discussion. Fahey also pointed out that <br />the City will have the old fire station building that <br />could be used as a satellite police station. Fahey <br />suggested that the Council think about this issue. <br />Page 2 <br />
