MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JUNE 12, 1990 BINGO HALL LICENSE - MOVERS WAREHOUSE Blesener pointed out that this project is similar to one that was done on Little Canada Road last year. Blesener pointed out that the cost of that improvement was assessed 80~ against the benefiting property owners, and 20% on general taxes. The Administrator reported that 25% of the cost of the improvement is beinq paid by the County, with the City being charged the remaining 75~. The Administrator reported that the estimated cost of $1,108.00 includes estimated administrative charges, therefore, actual costs could be less. Council asked the Administrator to determine if the Little Canada Road shoulder improvement was assessed at an 80/20% ratio. There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by Fahey, the public hearing was closed. The Administrator reported that final costs of the improvement will be known and reported at the assessment hearing. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-6-273 - ORDERING IMPROVEMENT NO. 90-7~ THE IMPROVEMENT OF COUNTY ROAD D FROM LABORE ROAD TO 0.35 MILES EAST BY SHOULDER PAVING Resolution declared adopted. The foregoinq resolution was duly seoonded by Collova. Ayes (5) Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Blesener, Fahey. Nays (0). Council reviewed the application submitted by Movers Warehouse, Inc. for renewal of their bingo hall license. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-6-274 - APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF BINGO HALL LICENSE SUBMITTED BY MOVERS WAREHOUSE, INC. FOR THE LICENSE PERIOD JULY 1, 1990 THROUGA JUNE 30, 1991 AND WAIVING THE CITY'S 60-DAY REVIEW PERIOD PA6E 4
