MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />June 27, 1990 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 27th day of June, 1990 in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Acting Mayor Beverly Scalze chaired the meeting and <br />called it to order at 6:30 P.M. and the following <br />members of the Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Acting Mayor Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />Council Member Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Collova <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Mayor Mr. Michael Fahey <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Recording Secr. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />The Acting Mayor reported that the purpose of this <br />evening~s workshop meeting is to conduct a six-month <br />performance evaluation of the City Administrator. In <br />preparation of the meeting, Council Members completed <br />performance evaluation forms, and these were used <br />during the meeting. <br />The evaluation forms identify eight major areas of <br />responsibility to be addressed. These are <br />Organizational Management, Fiscal/Business Management, <br />Program Development and Follow-Through, Relationship <br />with the Mayor/Council, Long Range Planning, <br />Relationship with Public/Public Relations, <br />Intergovernmental Relations, and Professional/Personal <br />Development. <br />The Council Members reviewed their ratings of the City <br />Administrator's performance in the areas outlined <br />above, and it was noted that in all eight areas of <br />responsibility, the City Administrator met or exceeded <br />expectations. The Council Members submitted their <br />completed evaluation forms for inclusion in the City <br />Administrator's personnel file. <br />Page 1 <br />
