MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 12, 1990 <br />GAME ROOM Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />LICENSE moved its adoption: <br />TRANSFER- <br />BANK SHOT RESOLUTION NO. 90-12-552 - APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF <br />BILLIARDS OF THE GAME ROOM LICENSE AT BANK SHOT BILLIARDS TO RICE <br />STREET BILLIARDS, INC. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />REQUEST FOR Council discussed the request of Bev Jespersen for <br />LEAVE - BEV a 30-day leave of absence effective January 15, 1991. <br />JESPERSEN <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-12-553 - APPROVING A 30-DAY LEAVE OF <br />ABSENCE FOR BEVERLY JESPERSEN EFFECTIVE JANUARY 15, <br />1991 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PLANNING Council reviewed the applications received for two <br />COMMISSION appointments to the Planning Commission effective <br />APPOINTMENTS January 1, 1991. By ballot taken by the Council, John <br />Keis and Claudia Drabik were appointed to the Planning <br />Commission for three year terms effective January 1, <br />1991. <br />PARK Council reviewed the applications received for two <br />COMMISSION appointments to the Park Commission effective January <br />APPOINTMENTS 1, 1991. By ballot taken by the Council, Joe Fasciana <br />and Jan Sherman were appointed to the Park Commission <br />for three year terms effective January 1, 1991. <br />Council discussed the fact that John Keis is currently <br />a Park Commission member. Council instructed the City <br />Administrator to determine if Mr. Keis intends to <br />resign as a Park Commission member in view of his <br />appointment to the Planning commission. If so, the <br />vacancy on the Park Commission should be advertised. <br />The Administrator should also contact the current <br />applicants to the Park Commission to determine if they <br />are interested in being considered for this new <br />vacancy. <br />Page 19 <br />
