MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JANUARY 30, 1991 <br />Pursuant to due call a special meeting of the Council <br />of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the <br />30th day of January, 1991 in the Council Chambers of <br />the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in <br />said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired the meeting and called it <br />to order at 5:00 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />GAMBLING Bob Matson, representing the <br />I,ICENSE Association, appeared before <br />RENEWAL - that due to changes in State <br />NORTH holds more than one gambling <br />SUBURBAN licenses must be done at the <br />YOUTH ASSOC. renewal. <br />Council Member <br />City Admin <br />Mr. Rick Collova <br />Mr. Joel Hanson <br />North Suburban Youth <br />the Council and reported <br />Law, if an organization <br />license, renewals of all <br />time of the earliest <br />The City Administrator reported that the necessary <br />renewal documents have been submitted for the North <br />Suburban Youth Association for their operation at the <br />Little Canada Bingo Hall, however, the Sheriff's report <br />is pending. North Suburban Youth also submitted 100 of <br />proceeds to the City and 1990 donations appear to be in <br />compliance with the City's Trade Area Ordinance. <br />LaValle asked who the designated gambling manager is <br />for the North Suburban Youth Association. <br />Matson replied that Betty Matson is the organization's <br />gambling manager. <br />LaValle also commented that it appeared NSYA was late <br />with some reports. <br />Matson agreed and said that the problem has been <br />corrected. <br />Page 1 <br />
