There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was closed. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 91-7-252 - APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 56 FOOT BY 60 FOOT STEEL CANOPY OVER FUELING ISLANDS AS WELL AS VARIANCE TO THE CODE TO ALLOW A FRONT YARD SETBACK OF 16 FEET FOR THE CANOPY BASED ON THE FACT THAT A HARDSHIP EXISTS DUE TO THE TAKING OF PROPERTY FOR THE WIDENING OF LITTLE CANADA ROAD, SUBJECT TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED JULY 2, 1991, SUBJECT TO THE REQUIREMENT THAT SIGNAGE AT THE SITE MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE SIGN ORDINANCE BASED ON THE TRESHOLD THAT HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED FOR AMOUNT OF IMPROVEMENTS BEING MADE TO THE PROPERTY, AND TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THAT ANY ADDITIONAL SIGNAGE PROPOSED MAY REQUIRE AN ADJUSTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF EXISTING SIGNAGE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (4) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. FAVIS Blesener pointed out discussion at the Planning PROPERTY ON Commission on the part of Gloria Favis indicating that LITTLE she may want to do future additional to her house on CANADA ROAD Little Canada Road. Blesener felt that this should be kept in mind in consideration of the Favis request for Conditional Use Permit and Variance. Scalze expressed concern that there was inadequate room on the site for off-street parking of vehicles.
