However, Blesener felt that the City <br />Planner should research the Sign Ordinance, as well as <br />agreements that were made with Union 76 at the time of <br />previous action on the site. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by LaValle, the <br />public hearing was closed. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-7-252 - APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT TO ALLOW THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 56 FOOT BY 60 <br />FOOT STEEL CANOPY OVER FUELING ISLANDS AS WELL AS <br />VARIANCE TO THE CODE TO ALLOW A FRONT YARD SETBACK OF <br />16 FEET FOR THE CANOPY BASED ON THE FACT THAT A <br />HARDSHIP EXISTS DUE TO THE TAKING OF PROPERTY FOR THE <br />WIDENING OF LITTLE CANADA ROAD, SUBJECT TO THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS CONTAINED IN HIS <br />REPORT DATED JULY 2, 1991, SUBJECT TO THE REQUIREMENT <br />THAT SIGNAGE AT THE SITE MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE <br />SIGN ORDINANCE BASED ON THE TRESHOLD THAT HAS BEEN <br />ESTABLISHED FOR AMOUNT OF IMPROVEMENTS BEING MADE TO <br />THE PROPERTY, AND TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THAT ANY <br />ADDITIONAL SIGNAGE PROPOSED MAY REQUIRE AN ADJUSTMENT <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF EXISTING SIGNAGE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />FAVIS Blesener pointed out discussion at the Planning <br />PROPERTY ON Commission on the part of Gloria Favis indicating that <br />LITTLE she may want to do future additional to her house on <br />CANADA ROAD Little Canada Road. Blesener felt that this should be <br />kept in mind in consideration of the Favis request for <br />Conditional Use Permit and Variance. <br />Scalze expressed concern that there was inadequate room <br />on the site for off-street parking of vehicles. <br />ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-7-253 - ADJOURNING <br />Page 20 <br />
