MINUTE5 <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 14, 1991 <br />DINNER TO BE HELD AT THE VENETIAN INN ON OCTOBER 6, <br />1991 WITH THERE BEING NO SALE OF PULL-TABS BY THIS <br />ORGANIZATION AT THE EVENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Scalze, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />TEMPORARY Council reviewed the application submitted by the <br />LIQUOR Recreation Association for temporary liquor license in <br />LICENSE conjunction with their North Country Classic to be held <br />REC ASSOC. September 6-8, 1991 in Pioneer Park. It was noted that <br />appropriate evidence of insurance coverage has been <br />submitted. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-8-270 - APPROVING A TEMPORARY LIQUOR <br />LICENSE FOR THE RECREATION ASSOCIATION IN CONJUNCTION <br />WITH THEIR NORTH COUNTRY CLASSIC TO BE AELD IN PIONEER <br />PARK SEPTEMBER 6-8, 1991 AND WAIVING THE LICENSE FEE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Collova. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PETITION Mr. Roger Stanke submitted to the Council a petition <br />FOR ROAD signed by the majority of property owners in Ryan <br />IMPROVEMENT Industrial Park for repair of pot holes as well as <br />RYAN road repair within the Park. Stanke stated that the <br />INDUSTRIAL property owners want to see the pot holes filled <br />PARK immediately and a plan put together for repair of the <br />roads. Stanke felt that the road situation is totally <br />out-of-hand and felt there would be a serious accident <br />because of it. <br />The City Engineer agreed that the roads within the Park <br />are in need of repair. The Engineer pointed out that <br />over the past several years the road has been overlaid <br />once and milled twice. <br />Stanke again asked for the pot holes to be filled at <br />this time and that the City Engineer draw up plans for <br />repair of the road. Once those plans and cost <br />estimates are available, the property owners could <br />review them and take it from there. <br />The City Engineer pointed out that filling the pot <br />holes would only be a temporary measure until major <br />repair work is done.
