MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNE50TA NOVEMBER 27, 1991 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of November, 1991 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired the meeting and called it to order at 6:00 P.M. and the following members of the Council were present at roll call: MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson Council Member Mr. Bill Slesener Council Member Mr. Rick Collova Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson Recreation Dir. Mr. Jim Morelan Planning Comm. Mr. Gene DeLonais Fire Chief Mr. Frank Graczyk Fire Dept. Mr. Dick Boss LCRA Mr. Steve Morelan Recording Sec. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer 1992 The purpose of this meeting is a continuation of the BUDGET review of the proposed 1992 Budget that was began on November 12th. The City Administrator suggested that those present turn to pages 43 and 44 of their Budget documents. Those pages contain a memo from the City Administrator outlining options which have been identified in order to balance the General Fund Budget. The City Administrator reviewed the proposed budget reductions listed on page 43 in detail, pointing out that by making these reductions, cost savings generated total $71,503. The Administrator pointed out that, for the most part, the reductions include capital outlay items from the General Fund Budget. These items are listed on page 62 of the Budget document, as well as potential funding sources. The Administrator pointed out that he has ranked the capital outlay needs, and suggested that capital outlay items be addressed as funding becomes available. Page 1
