MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNE50TA <br />NOVEMBER 27, 1991 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 27th day of November, 1991 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired the meeting and called it <br />to order at 6:00 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Council Member Mr. Bill Slesener <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Collova <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Recreation Dir. Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Planning Comm. Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Fire Chief Mr. Frank Graczyk <br />Fire Dept. Mr. Dick Boss <br />LCRA Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Recording Sec. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />1992 The purpose of this meeting is a continuation of the <br />BUDGET review of the proposed 1992 Budget that was began on <br />November 12th. The City Administrator suggested that <br />those present turn to pages 43 and 44 of their Budget <br />documents. Those pages contain a memo from the City <br />Administrator outlining options which have been <br />identified in order to balance the General Fund Budget. <br />The City Administrator reviewed the proposed budget <br />reductions listed on page 43 in detail, pointing out <br />that by making these reductions, cost savings generated <br />total $71,503. The Administrator pointed out that, for <br />the most part, the reductions include capital outlay <br />items from the General Fund Budget. These items are <br />listed on page 62 of the Budget document, as well as <br />potential funding sources. The Administrator pointed <br />out that he has ranked the capital outlay needs, and <br />suggested that capital outlay items be addressed as <br />funding becomes available. <br />Page 1 <br />
