MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 12, 1992 <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-2-51 - ADOPTING RE-ASSESSMENT OF <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 90-21A, DESOTO STREET ASSESSMENT AS <br />PRESENTED FOR PARCELS NO. 05-29-22-24-0037 AND NO. <br />05-29-22-24-0054 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Hanson, LaValle, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution deolared adopted. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-2-52 - ABATING THE ASSESSMENTS FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 90-21, DESOTO STREET IMPROVEMENT, <br />LEVIED ON OCTOBER 29, 1991 FOR PARCELS NO. <br />05-29-22-24-0037 AND NO. 05-29-22-24-0054 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Hanson, Blesener, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />SENIOR Mr. Roy Nadeau, Sr. appeared before the Council <br />HOUSING requesting a status report on the proposed senior <br />housing project. Nadeau reported that he currently <br />resides in a senior housing project in another City, <br />and being a life-long resident of Little Canada is <br />anxious to return to Little Canada. <br />Mayor Hanson introduced Gary Bidne, President of Ark <br />Development and Project Coordinator for Presbyterian <br />Homes for their Little Canada senior housing project. <br />Mr. Bidne stated that he was happy to be here this <br />evening and very glad to see the large turn-out of <br />seniors who are interested in the project. Bidne <br />reported that Presbyterian Homes recently received a <br />market study for the project which was one of the <br />requirements. The developer will be meeting within the <br />next couple of weeks with the consultant working with <br />the City to discuss the financing situation of the <br />project. Bidne felt that within a month the developer <br />should have more information on the timetable for the <br />project. <br />Bidne suggested within the next week to ten days he set <br />up meetings with interested seniors to gather their <br />input regarding the desiqn of the units and amenities <br />Page 4 <br />
