MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 13, 1992 <br />Paul Gerber, 2951 Edgerton, stated that he was in favor <br />of the improvement either way it would be assessed. <br />Gerber suggested that dividing the improvement into the <br />area north and the area south of LaBore would increase <br />the cost for the area north of LaBore. <br />Blesener felt that each area should stand on its own <br />one way or another. <br />The City Attorney indicated that the Council could <br />decide to proceed with one portion of the improvement <br />and not the other, even though the advertisement for <br />the improvement hearing included the entire area. The <br />Attorney suggested, however, that it may be better to <br />continue the hearing at this point and get the <br />additional information needed, before proceeding on any <br />portion of the improvement. <br />Greg Campbell, 2881 Edgerton, stated that he was in <br />favor of the improvement. <br />The resident at 565 Keller Parkway, stated that she was <br />in favor of the improvement <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 92-10-346 - CONTINUING THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON THE EDGERTON WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT AT THIS <br />TIME~ INSTRUCTING CITY STAFF TO SEND A LETTER TO THE <br />PROPERTY OWNERS AFFECTED BY THE IMPROVEMENT ASKING <br />WHETHER OR NOT TAEY ARE IN FAVOR OF THE IMPROVEMENT, <br />AND THE LETTER TO INDICATE THE ESTIMATED COST OF THE <br />IMPROVEMENT ON BOTH A PER LOT BASIS AND A FRONT FOOT <br />BASIS, AND ASK FOR THE PROPERTY OWNERS' PREFERENCE OF <br />THE TWO, WITA THE CONTINUATION OF THE PUBLIC HEARING TO <br />BE SCAEDULED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR WITHIN THE NEXT <br />COUPLE OF WEEKS, AND THE LETTER DESCRIBED ABOVE TO <br />INCLUDE THE DATE OF THE CONTINUED HEARING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Hanson, LaValle. <br />Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ADJOURN Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-10-347 - ADJOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Hanson, LaValle. <br />Nays (O).
