MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
NOVEMBER 18, 1992
Scalze pointed out to Grabrick that it was his
responsibility to file for a variance and to see the
application through the process. It was felt that the
best that could be done at this point to speed up the
process somewhat would be to move the second Council
meeting in December from December 23rd to December
15th. Council was agreeable to this change due to the
Holidays as well.
Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 92-11-421 - MOVING THE SECOND COUNCIL
MEETING IN DECEMBER FROM DECEMBER 23, 1992 TO DECEMBER
15, 1992
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle.
Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Hanson, Collova, Scalze.
Nays (0). The Director
reported that three of the seven cities declined to
participate in the cost of the band and celebration.
Aowever, the Director felt that this was a worthwhile
celebration and recommended that the City contribute
the $300 toward that band that was determined to be
Little Canada's share. The Director reported that
there are surpluses in the Park & Recreation Department
operating budqet to fund this amount.
Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 92-11-422 - APPROVING THE CONTRIBUTION
OF $300 TOWARD THE COST OF THE BAND WHICH PERFORMED AT
THE VALUES AWARENESS CELEBRATION BASED ON THE
RECOMMENDATION OF THE PARKS & RECREATION DIRECTOR
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova.
Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Hanson, LaValle, Scalze.
Nays (0).
