MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
APRIL 19, 1993
Nagle suggested that corner lots be assessed at a rate
of 500 of footage on both streets, and should one side
be on a non-assessable street, the lot assessed 100% of
the assessable frontage.
The Council discussed the assessment of corner lots at
some length, noting the various corner lot situations
that occur. That is, a corner lot with frontage on two
City streets, a corner lot is frontage on one City
street and a County street, and a corner lot with
driveways on both streets.
The City Administrator suggested that he review the
various scenarios and come back with a recommendation
for the City Council to consider. The Administrator
also reported that he and the City Engineer are working
on the apartment assessment rate and will come back
with a recommendation on that issue. The Administrator
reported that he would present this information at a
Council meeting, and should the Council feel that
another workshop is necessary, one can be called.
There being no further business, the meeting was
adjourned at 10:15 A.M.
~~
/,~ ~ F
' _- .a~~ond~ G
Attest:
Hanson,
Y
Page 9
son, Mayor
strator
