805-1 <br />805. WAGON VENDORS <br />805.010. LICENSE. No person who sells any merchandise, including popcorn, soft drinks, <br />ice cream or other confectionery from a wagon, truck, automobile, pushcart or other vehicle shall <br />operate in the City without first procuring a license for such business as herein provided; except that <br />this shall not apply to farmers selling their own produce. <br />805.020. APPLICATION AND FEE. Application for a wagon vendor’s license shall be <br />made to the City on a form provided by the City. The fee for such license shall be as set forth by <br />City Council resolution with the license period commencing July 1 of each year. The license fee for <br />any part of a year shall be the same as for a full year. The Administrator shall first obtain approval <br />of the Council before issuing such license. <br />805.030. RESPONSIBILITIES. Any licensee hereunder shall be held responsible for <br />nuisance emanating from his operation; and, shall not permit debris, paper, bottles, cartons or other <br />kinds of waste from his merchandise to be deposited on any public or private property. No such <br />licensee shall park his vehicle in any place or in any manner that constitutes a traffic hazard or a <br />neighborhood nuisance. <br />(Source: Ord. 36, Amended: Ord. 375, 513) <br />Current City Code
