Soil borings will help understand
existing soil composition, suitability for building construction and understand the need
for possible soil correction.
• Phase 1 Environmental site Assessment (ESA) will investigate the property’s current and
historical conditions to identify potential environmental contamination. Commercial use,
coupled with contamination within public works site, warrants a Phase 1 ESA.

PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION SUPPORT
The Parks and Recreation commission reviewed and supports the proposed Community Building
TAC strategy at the April 3 meeting.

The Parks and Recreation Director will deliver a draft of what this Committee is looking to
accomplish in 2025.

ATTACHMENTS
102824 Community Building Think Tank Minutes
102824 Community Building Think Tank Slides
2024 Community Building Engagement Survey
2025 Little Canada Community Survey
