Do you have any other comments regarding a communit y building in Little Canada?  <br />Add a garden.   <br />A room could have other possibilities...craft show .seniors gathering. Exercise .start thinking about programming <br />and the building will follow <br />Don't want it if is going to raise taxes. <br />Go big or stay home <br />I believe this would be a great community asset. There are very few spaces for free or rent avaiable for groups.  <br />I don't think one is necessary. Both Maplewood and Shoreview could not financially sustain theirs, and ultimately <br />turned them over to the YMCA. <br />I think a community building is long overdue.  <br />I think it will be very expensive to have an event there, interest rates are to high, building materials through the roof, <br />just not the right time. Maybe in the future. There's many more projects that need to be done like vegetation big <br />trees growing next to roads, retaining walls. Need to clean up make it inviting for people to come here to do <br />business. Parks are beautiful let's have our road ways cut and cleaned,fencing alongside highways and road. And <br />clean and thin out the small amount of forest we have left to make them healthier. <br />I think it would be great if there were flexibility in the room sizes.  Perhaps with some type of good dividers or <br />something? <br />I think it's a great idea and would be a valuable opportunity <br />If it's large enough, it would be amazing to have an auditorium/stage for events. <br />Let's do this right and construct a community building that will make our community proud. Big enough to support <br />community events, and elegant enough to host a wedding. Don't let budgetary concerns ruin what has the potential <br />for a fantastic destination area in Little Canada.  <br />Love that this investment in the community is being considered <br />No <br />Really don't think we need one. <br />Should be able to serve alcohol.  Should have adequate off street parking. Should come with enough tables and <br />chairs to seat up to capacity. Cleaning and waste removal should be included in the rental cost. <br />The Anjpetu Teca center and the Shoreview Community Center are both less than 15 minutes away. This seems like <br />an unnecessary use of funds.  <br />The only other thought would be to have plenty of parking nearby and to have plenty of tables and chairs that can <br />easily be moved, depending on the event. <br />This is an exciting possibility! <br />We don't need it <br />We would use it for our LCFD annual banquets!!!! <br />Who is going to pay for this?  Only Little Canada residents?  Taxes would be raised, again? <br />With a security deposit, consider making this free or heavily discounted for Little Canada residents. <br />Would be great to have a space that could accommodate small groups as well as larger. Have access to clean <br />bathrooms and full kitchen space. As well as near playground. But must be affordable.  <br />Would this be profitable or a money suck? The Vadnais Heights facility is obviously very nice, but maybe we don't <br />need to keep up with the Joneses on this one.
