MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MAY 26, 1993 GAMEROOM LICENSE BRADY'S ON RICE STREET HOGGSBREATH SAXON LOUNGE/MINGLES VENETIAN INN The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Morelan, Pedersen. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. MN DOT Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and TRAINING moved its adoption: REIMBURSE- MENT RESOLUTION NO. 93-5-150 - APPROVING THE MN DOT TRANSPORTATION AGREEMENT FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF CITY ENGINEER COSTS RELATING TO SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF MN DOT'S TECHNICAL CERTIFICATION PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Pedersen, Morelan. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. VOUCHERS Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 93-5-151 - APPROVING TAE VOUCHERS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Aanson, Pedersen, Morelan. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. RECESS At this point in the meeting, 8:52 P.M., Council took a short recess. The meeting was reconvened at 9:07 P.M. VANDERBIE/ The City Engineer reported that the Vanderbie/Al1en ALLEN project has been progressing slower than anticipated PROJECT due to difficulties with utility location and relocation. The Engineer felt that project conditions would improve within the next week once gravel base is put in. The Engineer also reported that property owners will be allowed to connect to utilities once the area is cleaned up. The deadline for completion of the Vanderbie/Allen project as well as Costa Lane is June 30th, therefore, the contractor may have to put on some extra crews. Once the Vanderbie/Allen project and Costa Lane is completed, work will begin on the Edgerton watermain project. Page 17
