MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA~ MINNESOTA <br />JULY 14, 1993 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 14th day of July, 1993 in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired and called the meeting to <br />order at 6:30 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br /> Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br /> Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan <br /> Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen <br /> Council Member Mrs. Bev Scalze <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br /> City Engineer Mr. Mike Lynch <br /> Rec. Secretary Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />STREET Mayor Hanson reported that the purpose of tonight's <br />RECONSTRUC- workshop meeting is to finalize the proposed street <br />TION/ reconstruction/assessment policy. <br />ASSESSMENT <br />POLICY The City Administrator began a detailed review of the <br /> policy outlining changes that have been suggested by <br /> various members of the Council as well as himself. The <br /> Administrator noted that the definition of Average <br /> Daily Trip will be added to the definition section of <br /> the policy as well as a table showing the various <br /> street classifications based on ADT's. <br />Morelan recommended that Items 1 and 2 under Section II <br />on page 3 be moved to page 2 where those items will <br />provide definitions for assessable cost. (Definitions <br />of project and assessalbe costs.) <br />LaValle and Scalze suggested that these items be listed <br />in both Sections I and II. <br />The Administrator suggested that the first sentence of <br />Item 2 will be moved and listed as a definition in <br />Section I. There were some other minor wording and <br />spelling corrections made to page 2. <br />Page 1 <br />
