MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 28, 1993 <br />STOP SIGN <br />Ar•r•EN & <br />PAYNE AVE. <br />TEt4P . <br />LIQUOR <br />LICENSE - <br />LCRA <br />1992 <br />ANNUAL <br />FINANCIAL <br />REPORTS <br />RESOLUTION N0. 93-7-232 - CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING <br />TO CONSIDER THE VACATION OF DRAINAGE EASEMENT ON LOTS 4 <br />AND 5, BLOCK 4, RYAN INDUSTRIAL PARK FOR WEDNESDAY, <br />AUGUST 25, 1993, AT 7:30 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Hanson, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-7-233 - AUTHORIZING TIIE PLACEMENT OF <br />A STOP SIGN AT THE INTERSECTION OF ALLEN AND PAYNE <br />AVENUES AS RECOMMENDED BY CITY STAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Hanson, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 93-7-234 - APPROVING A TEMPORARY LIQUOR <br />LICENSE FOR THE LITTLE CANADA RECREATION ASSOCIATION <br />FOR AUGUST 13, 14, AND 15, 1993 IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE <br />CANADIAN DAYS CELEBRATION SUBJECT TO RECEIPT OF <br />SATISFACTORY PROOF OF LIQUOR LIABILITY INSURANCE AND <br />WAIVING THE LICENSE FEE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Hanson, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-7-235 - APPROVING THE 1992 ANNUAL <br />FINANCIAL REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS AS SUBMITTED BY <br />THE CITY AUDITOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Hanson, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LIQUOR The City Attorney reported that State Law as well as <br />LICENSE the City's Liquor Ordinance requires the licensing <br />VIOLATION authority to act on liquor license violations. There <br />TIERNEY'S was a violation of the City 's liquor ordinance by <br /> Page 7 <br />
