MINiI'PES OF THE WORRSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />8, 1993 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 8th day of September, 1993 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired and called the meeting to <br />order at 6:35 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />MEMBERS ABSENT <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Council Member <br />City Admin. <br />Fire Chief <br />lst Asst. Chief <br />Secretary <br />Treasurer <br />Bldg. Official <br />Recording Sec. <br />Mrs. Bev Scalze <br />Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Mr. Dick Boss <br />Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Mr. Mike Fahey <br />Mr. Jim Gustafson <br />Mr. John Palacio <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />Hanson noted that the purpose of tonight's meeting is <br />to hold a quarterly joint workshop with the City <br />Council and Little Canada Fire Department. <br />741 FIRE Chief Boss noted that refurbishing of the Fire <br />TRUCR Department's 741 truck has been completed, and the <br />Department brought the truck over for the Council's <br />inspection this evening. The Chief noted that the <br />refurbishing has added a lot of life to this truck <br />which is used by the Department for hauling of <br />equipment and as a command center. <br />36-MAN The Chief noted that at a previous meeting he was <br />DEPARTMENT asked why the membership of the Fire Department <br />consists of 36 fire fighters. Since that time he has <br />done some research and analysis of this issue. The <br />Chief reported that he contacted the State Fire Center <br />with the question, and while the Center has done <br />Page 1 <br />
