MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 22, 1994 <br />indicated that they were undecided. <br />One resident indicated that widening the road will <br />increase traffic speeds. <br />There was no one else from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by LaVa11e, seconded by Scalze, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Hanson pointed out that the Council must resolve the <br />question of the assessment versus benefits received. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 94-3-68 - TABLING ACTION ON IMPROVEMENT <br />NO. 93-11, LAKESHORE/OLD COUNTY ROAD C/JACKSON STREET <br />PENDING ADDITIONAL INFORMATION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Hanson, Scalze, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />5calze stated that she agreed with the property owners <br />that improving these roads will increase the traffic <br />problems in the area. <br />Pedersen felt that concrete curb and gutter will help <br />to slow traffic providing a barrier for traffic to stay <br />on the street in navigating the curves in the road. <br />ADJOURN Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-3-69 - ADJOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Hanson, Morelan, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0).
