MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTE@'lBER 28, 1994 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 28th day of September, 1994 <br />in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired and called the meeting to <br />order at 6:05 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mayor Mr. <br />Council Member Mr. <br />Council Member Mr. <br />Council Member Mr. <br />Council Member Mrs <br />City Admin. Mrs <br />Raymond Hanson <br />Jim LaValle <br />Steve Morelan <br />Bob Pedersen <br />Beverly Scalze <br />Joel Aanson <br />Jim Morelan <br />Dick Boss <br />Jim Gustafson <br />Kathy Glanzer <br />1995 The City Administrator began a review of the <br />BUDGET General Fund Revenues and Expenses which make up the <br />bulk of the proposed 1995 Budget. Property tax <br />revenues are projected at $942,016 for 1995, while <br />License & Permit revenues are projected at $75,185. <br />The Administrator reported that there may be some <br />opportunities for increasing revenue projections. <br />These areas include building permit revenues given the <br />likelihood of a townhome development on Minnesota <br />Avenue as well as the D& T Trucking development on <br />South Owasso Blvd. As more information is obtained <br />prior to the Truth In Taxation Hearings, it may be <br />possible to adjust these revenue projections upward. <br />The Administrator reported that the City~s inspection <br />fees are lagging behind those of other cities. The <br />electrical inspector is requesting a fee increase. <br />Electrical fees have not been increased in the past six <br />years. City staff is currently analyzing general <br />contractor, mechanical, electrical and solid waste <br />1 <br />
