MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 12, 1994 LaValle was concerned that the exposure if the project starts found that the numbers do not the City should meet with the what is going on. City might have some to progress and it is work. LaValle felt that developer to find out Morelan felt the developers should be invited to a Council meeting. Morelan felt there was a huge lack of communication from the developer, and it seems like it is taking a long time for the developer to put together a project. Morelan felt an update will force the issue and allow the City to find out where the project is and where it is going. Morelan pointed out the development moratorium on the Rice Street TIF District which holds up all the property owners in that District from doinq anything with their land. It was the consensus of the Council that the City Administrator should send a letter to Gary Collyard asking him to appear at the next City Council meeting and provide an update on the Rice Street Gateway Project. HIRING The Public Works Superintendent and Parks and PARKKEEPER Recreation Director recommended that Gregory Hoag be hired to fill the position of Parkkeeper subject to a satisfactory physical examination. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 94-10-359 - HIRING GREGORY HOAG TO FILL THE POSITION OF PARKKEEPER AS RECOMMENDED BY TIIE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT AND PARKS AND RECREATION DIRECTOR The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (5) Scalze, Morelan, Hanson, Pedersen, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. RECYCLING Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and GRANT moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 94-10-360 - REQUESTING 1995 SCORE RECYCLING GRANT FUNDS FROM RAMSEY COUNTY AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT 17
