MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 26, 1994 <br />resolution which establishes increased mechanical and <br />electrical permit fees as recommended by City staff. <br />The City Attorney reported that the increased fees for <br />mechanical permits would go into effect November 1, <br />1994, while the fee increases for electrical permits <br />would go into effect on January l, 1995. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-10-374 - A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING <br />MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL PERMIT FEES FOR THE CITY OF <br />LITTLE CANADA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Scalze, Pedersen, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CLOSED The City Attorney recommended a closed session <br />SESSION following this evening's meeting to discuss the Mover's <br />Warehouse litigation, the SuperAmerica litigation, and <br />possible litigation by Jack Schmidt. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-10-375 - CALLING FOR A CLOSED SESSION <br />FOLLOWING TONIGHT'S COUNCIL MEETING TO DISCUSS PENDING <br />AND POSSIBLE LITIGATION AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY <br />ATTORNEY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Pedersen, Hanson, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CoMP PLAN The City Planner reported that the Planning Commission <br />UPDATE is planning to spend a significant amount of time at <br />their November meeting reviewing an update of the <br />Comprehensive Plan relating to the Rice Street area. <br />It is hoped that this information wi11 be ready for <br />adoption in December. <br />BARBED FENCE The City Administrator reported that he did a survey <br />ISSUES of existing barbed wire fences abutting residential <br />properties within the City.
